On June 19, 2015, Phuoc Tao Logistics Joint Stock Company was officially established.
Mr. Vo Thanh Phu assumed the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director. Starting with a charter capital of 4 billion VND and its initial barges (two 24 TEU barges and one 45 TEU barge), Phuoc Tao laid the foundation for a journey of value creation and the realization of its vision for sustainable development.
By 2018, Phuoc Tao's container barge fleet had grown significantly to 22 vessels.
In 2020, the company further asserted its strategic vision by expanding into the transportation of bulk cargo, steel, and equipment. Six specialized barges were commissioned, alongside investments in a container truck fleet, effectively closing the "warehouse-to-warehouse" service supply chain and providing maximum convenience for customers.
The year 2025 marks a pivotal milestone as Phuoc Tao's fleet reaches an impressive 46 barges, a testament to our remarkable growth and our ability to meet the ever-increasing transport demands of our clients.
Our container barge fleet has been continuously upgraded, from the Phuoc Tao 07 (45 TEUs) in 2015, to the Phuoc Tao 59 (96 TEUs) in 2020, and the Phuoc Tao 12 (128 TEUs) in 2024. Specifically, Phuoc Tao now owns 35 container barges with diverse sizes ranging from 24 TEUs to 250 TEUs.
Concurrently, our bulk cargo barge fleet has seen significant investment. From the Phuoc Tao 36 with a deadweight tonnage of 1,200 tons in 2020, we expanded to the SGL 01 with 2,400 tons in 2024. Phuoc Tao's bulk cargo fleet currently comprises 11 vessels with capacities from 1,200 tons to 2,500 tons.
Each vessel represents a step forward, affirming Phuoc Tao's capability and scale.

In 2024, Phuoc Tao successfully transported over 56,800 20-foot containers, nearly 43,700 40-foot containers, and over 1.47 million tons of steel and equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency and contributing significantly to the development of Vietnam's logistics industry.
With a robust and diversified fleet, Phuoc Tao is confident in its ability to optimally meet the transportation needs of all customers and partners.
